Until this class I have found it really difficult to find other people interested in parallel computing. I realize that we're all coming at it from different backgrounds and specific research areas, but I think that really be a benefit. I was wondering if anyone had any interest in participating in a journal club next semester to read key papers in High Performance Computing and go over new directions and ideas? As a start, I think it'd be great to read the Gordon Bell winning and finalist papers and have people to discuss the key points with.
If you'd be interested let me know!

Sure, I'd be very interested in being involved in some way or another. Sounds like fun. (Really!)

I am interested as well. There is also a High Performance and Super Computing Group on LinkedIn.
